SHOES OF WISDOM NPC is an entity co-founded by the South African soccer legend, the late John Lesiba “Shoes” Moshoeu. It runs projects targeted at the education, development and mentorship of the boy-child through mediums of sports and arts. It seeks to groom the boy-child to be a game changer and a force for good in his community while relating with and complementing the independent girl-child. The foundation believes that sports and arts are an important part of their culture and play a fundamental role in child development. They are an innovative and fun way of learning and storytelling that help establish strong social bonds and facilitate the transfer of critical skills and knowledge.
